    EVANS ARCHIVE IS HOSTING BROWN BROTHERS THE OLDEST STOCK PHOTO AGENCY IN THE U.S.
    Recently acquired by Lelands, Brown Brothers is the last of the great photo archives
    A unique archive, it originates from the 1900s to 1930s. But it also includes
    the 19th century right up to the 1960s.
    We will be offering thousands of original, vintage images on eBay in the coming months. They will cover all areas of popular culture:  sports, Hollywood (including many of the celebrated Photographers such as George Hurrell and Nickolas Muray), music, historical, and more.
    Almost all of our auctions start at .97, with no reserves.
    Historical Photo Collection
    From the Brown Brothers Photo Archive file marked "Toys".  Photos show the communities of the Ore Mountains in Germany where the Erzgebirge toys were made.  A cottage industry born of necessity when the silver ran dry in the mines, the small wooden toys and Christmas decorations were created by families and sent to Nuremburg and other larger toy markets to sell.
